How can I be assured that AWI is a reputable company?
AWI has been established for 22 years.
All our investigators are licensed and have National Police
Clearances.
We are members of the Institute of Mercantile Agents, Australian
Institute of Professional Investigators and the Australia Insurance
Law Association.
Our client base includes government departments from local
to federal level, insurance companies, banks and major corporations.
Referees can be provided.
How can I be assured that the information provided
will remain confidential?
Protection of information is a priority at AWI.
We take all reasonable precautions to ensure the security
and confidentiality of information in our possession. Information
is never divulged to a third party without authorisation.
All staff are bound by confidentiality agreements.
AWI adheres to all the relevant acts and legislation
including The
Privacy Act 1988.
How does AWI charge for its services?
Costs depend on the nature of the investigation and resources
required. We normally work on an hourly and km rate.
When should I consider surveillance?
Surveillance should be considered when contradictory evidence
exists or simply to confirm the facts.
How can I be assured that the person or business
being investigated will not be aware that they are under
surveillance?
All our investigators are experienced;
detection rate is very minimal.
When should I consider due diligence?
Due diligence should be considered when entering into a
new business relationship with a partner, or client, prior
to mergers, acquisitions, licensing or franchising agreements.
Does the employee need to know about an employment
check?
A release/consent form must be signed by the applicant prior
to engaging an external company to conduct inquiries.
My company is only small, why do I need a Safety
and Risk Analysis conducted?
Providing a safe and secure environment is a fundamental
requirement for retaining valuable employees and customers,
safeguarding profits and minimizing insurance premiums.
Failure can cause loss of employees, customers, and revenue
and expose you to liability.
